Early Registration Now Open – Y Early Learning Program
We are excited to announce that early registration is now open for the upcoming term of our Y Early Learning Program at the Cane Bay Family YMCA! Secure your child’s spot today and take advantage of early enrollment opportunities.
Program Details
- Age Group: Children ages 3–4
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Curriculum: Our program uses a comprehensive creative curriculum that supports the whole child through structured play, exploration, and hands-on learning experiences.
Children participate in engaging monthly themed activities that include:
- Days of the week, colors, numbers, and counting
- Songs, dancing, and Storytime
- Special experiences such as swimming, team-building activities, library visits, and gym time
Registration & Fees
- Deposit: $25 non-refundable deposit (applied toward monthly tuition)
- Monthly Tuition:
- Members: $500
- Non-Members: $650
- Registration Fee: $75 one-time, non-refundable
- Sibling Discount (Members Only): $50 off per month for each additional child enrolled
Important Information
- Potty Training: Children must be fully potty-trained to participate
- Payment Policy: Monthly fees are due in full before the start of each month; tuition is not prorated
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 30 days of the program start date will result in 50% of the monthly fee being retained
- Limited Availability: Enrollment is capped at 25 children

Y Early Learning
Program Overview
Our Y-Early Learning Program is designed for children ages 3 and 4, offering a warm and engaging environment where young learners can explore, play, and build meaningful connections with their peers. We implement a Comprehensive Creative Curriculum that fosters curiosity and supports development across all key learning areas.
Through intentional planning and proven teaching strategies, our educators focus on:
- Building early math skills
- Developing language and literacy
- Supporting social-emotional growth
- Nurturing the whole child
Daily & Monthly Activities
Each month introduces exciting themes that keep learning fresh, fun, and engaging. Daily activities include:
- Learning days of the week, colors, numbers, and counting
- Songs, dancing, and Storytime
- Hands-on exploration and creative play
In addition, children participate in special experiences such as:
- Swimming
- Team-building activities
- Library and gym time
- In-house field trips that turn everyday moments into meaningful learning opportunities
Important Program Policies
- Children must be fully potty-trained to participate.
- This is a monthly program and is not prorated. Families are responsible for the full monthly fee regardless of start date.
Schedule
- Days: Monday–Friday
- Time: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- The program follows the Berkeley County School District calendar, including Spring Break and Christmas holidays.
