Afterschool Program
The Cane Bay Family YMCA Afterschool Program is a fun place with interactive activities and learning opportunities. We offer homework time, physical fitness time, and a wide variety of other activities, including S.T.E.M., socialization, and gameplay. Snacks will be provided, please send a refillable water bottle.
AFTERSCHOOL HOURS
School dismissal is until 6:00 p.m. When there is a half-day at school, we will still hold afterschool at the time of dismissal. After 6:01 p.m., a late fee of $2 per minute you are late will be charged. If a child is not picked up by 6:15 p.m., we will begin calling parents and/or emergency contacts. If a child is not picked up by 7:00 p.m., local authorities will be called. We do not have after-school on days when school is not in session, we will however hold a day camp for an additional charge.

*If your child has an IEP, behavior issues, or requires one on one assistance, please contact the Y at [email protected] before registration.
**The IEP must be submitted and reviewed before confirmation of enrollment.
PAYMENT
A $75.00 registration fee per child is required, this fee is non-refundable. Our fee is $100.00 per week for members and $130.00 for non-members.. Fees MUST be paid whether your child is present or absent, once enrollment has been confirmed. If you need to cancel, you must contact the director at [email protected] at least 7 days before the scheduled payment date.
**Sibling discounts will only be granted to YMCA Members**
We reserve the right to discontinue service if the account becomes 5 days delinquent. We understand that occasional financial situations arise; please keep the program director informed as to your family’s situation in advance of delinquency so that we can work with you.
*Students who attend Cane Bay Elementary, Cane Bay Middle, or students living in Cane Bay Plantation who attend Westview Primary, Westview Elementary, and Westview Middle Schools may ride the school bus to the YMCA. The YMCA must have at least 72 hours’ notice to notify the transportation department. Transportation to the YMCA is not guaranteed until confirmation has been received from the school and transportation department. You must notify your child’s school upon confirmation from the YMCA after you have registered and paid. Sibling discount available please get in touch with the front desk.

This is for parents who would like to sign up for our monthly option.
**If your choose to drop of your child, drop-off as well as pick-up will be located at the back of the YMCA, near the soccer fields, at the gymnasium doors**
