Summer Day Camp
Campers at The Cane Bay Family YMCA and The Berkeley County Family YMCA will have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, form friendships, and create memories.
Camp is available with weekly themed options that include S.T.E.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) activities from June 6th through August 5th. There are camp options for children ages 5 to teens.
If your child has exceptional health or learning needs you must contact [email protected] prior to registration. Enrollment is at the sole discretion of the YMCA staff on a case-by-case basis.
Regular camp hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Extended Day Option: 4:00pm-6:00pm (Cost: $30 per child)
* Sibling discount and extended day options available please contact the front desk DO NOT REGISTER ONLINE. Register in the group under the age your child will be at the start of the session.
THE $50 REGISTRATION FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE, YOU MUST WITHDRAW FROM A SESSION 5 DAYS PRIOR TO THE START DATE TO AVOID BEING CHARGED. YOU MUST EMAIL YOUR REQUEST TO [email protected]
What To Bring: Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe sneakers. Bring a backpack with a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and bug spray. Pack a nut-free lunch and two healthy snacks in a lunch box or cooler, along with a refillable water bottle and/or healthy drink. Water is provided throughout the day. Please label all items with your child’s name.

Week 1 (June 6-June 10) Aloha Summer-Come join us for a week of island fun to kick off summer!
Week 2 (June 13-June 17) Space Travel-Travel through space with us in a week that is out of this world!
Week 3 (June 20-June 24) Theater-Come join us for a dramatic week of fun!
Week 4 (June 27-July 1) Deep Blue Sea-Join us as we learn all about the ocean and marine life!
Week 5 (July 5-July 8) Sports-Join us for this fun week of friendly competition!
Week 6 (July 11-July 15) Spy-Calling all super spies! Come complete your spy training and embark on the ultimate mission!
Week 7 (July 18-July 22) Amazing Animal Kingdom-Let’s learn all about different animals from throughout the world!
Week 8 (July 25-July 29) Figure It Out-Join us for a week of robotics, Legos, and S.T.E.M.
Week 9 (August 1-August 5) Splish Splash- Have fun with us and our water-themed week!
